Oligopoly

Where is democracy? In Finland we had massive opposition by the people for the infamous Lex Nokia and the pension issue. No one really wants that. But they do it anyway. Lex Nokia even violates the constitution of Finland. Where's the opposition? Where was the Green Party? They all just sat down and shut up. Though some members of the Green Party voted against Lex Nokia, they were immediately demonized by the party leadership and their fellow members of the parliament. Then we had the pension thing. The oligarchical PM Vanhanen is just going to nail it through, and the workers are just supposed to, again, sit down and shut up.

In the summer we had the Lisbon treaty. Again, no referendum. The folks down in Ireland voted against it and were immediately called stupid and un-informed. No referendum in Finland. Also, the treasury minister, Katainen, told the press that Finland needs to take 30 billion euros more debt to solve the "recession". Why? It's insane.

Finland is about to become United States whose about to become Zimbabwe. We have a supermassive black hole of derivatives with negative leverage on its way. The banks are not lending, not one person in the media is talking about derivatives and the people are to be blamed who have nothing to do with them derivatives. That's the issue. As long as the media doesn't mention the term derivative, the people can be blamed for living beyond the means. Of course they can't do that, because regular people do not have anything to do with derivatives, the bankers do.

When you realize that the parliaments and the governments of the world are nothing but tools of the rich oligarchy of trans-national corporations and financiers you start to wonder. Why do we vote for the same people? Year after year. For 4 to 6 years we keep bashing and mocking them and every time under the elections we forgive them and believe their crap. Every time! Now, I have sent a massive amount of emails to MEP's and MP's of Finland about issues dealing with finance and Big Brother -stylized surveillance policies. Guess how many answers I got back? None.

There is no democracy. There's only oligarchy, and we need to put an end to it. Stop voting on smiley faces and empty promises. Look at the issues, read alternative press, look at the money trail and think for yourselves. The goverment itself is not the enemy, it's the people and the special interest behind it. Stop being suckers. Don't get duped and find out about things. If you don't know what's really going on, then it's really useless to vote.

Bertrand Russell and Edward Bernays are not your gods.
